Opened in 1969, the Osamu Ueda designed Kashikojima Country Club skillfully incorporates the Rias coast in a scenic area surrounded by the beautiful sea and greenery of Yokoyama in Ise-Shima National Park.
The course weaves its way through the mountain terrain and native woodland to create a wonderful secluded golf course. Smartly positioned bunkers, large greens and water hazards enhance the design both strategically and aesthetically and provide enough of a distraction to keep the golfer on their toes.
Kashikojima has hosted the “Mizuno Classic-Ise Shima-” (2006-2014) and “TOTO Japan Classic-Ise Shima-” (2015) of the official women’s golf association 1989/2019), TOYOTA Junior Golf World Cup (2002), KGR Pro-Ama Tournament (2005), and other major competitions, evolving into a golf course with more than 50 years of history.
A superb clubhouse stands century to the courses and houses all that any member or visiting golfer may require. Spacious locker and shower rooms, a large bar with terrace and a superb restaurant serving local cuisine. A well-stocked pro-shop and good practice facilities along with 87 western-style rooms to accommodate guests complete the off-course facilities.
