Three Lakes Country Club in the Inabe district is one of Mie´s most established golf courses. It lives up to its name with plenty of water throughout the 18 holes. However, it’s not until the 7th hole that water may cause some threat. The 183 yard Par-3 has a pond on the fairway, but as it is slightly tucked away to the right side, it should not come into play for the majority of players.

Another good example is the 9th hole, a Par-4 which has water on both the right and left side of the fairway. Unless you are way off the tee, the water should not cause any problem either. The main issue to look out for at this hole are the three fairway bunkers.

However, you cannot avoid playing a shot over water on the two strong finishing holes. At the 17th hole, a Par-4, the fairway narrows between two sets of trees and beyond this point you will find water on the left side of the fairway and between the fairway and the green. You are left with no choice but to play your second shot over the water to the green. The same is true for the final hole, where you have to carry the water on your approach shot.
